WHo am I
Hi! I’m Slynyrd - Pixel Artist, Designer, Educator, and Co-creator of Hyper Echelon. As a life long artist with a professional background in graphic design, I strive to empower others with creative skills, while I chase my own artistic ambitions. Growing up with a game controller in one hand, and a pencil in the other, my passion for pixel art runs deep. Making the pixels flow since 2015.
Tools
I used Photoshop until Adobe lost their minds. Now, I use Aseprite for pixel art and frame animation. Pyxel Edit for tile design. My current hardware setup is a 27” iMac (Intel) with an Intuos Pro (medium) tablet.
Philosophy
The beauty of pixel art lies in the lack of information, allowing the audience to fill in the gaps with their own imagination, forming a deeper connection with the art.
